Does your favorite teddy bear, stuffed animal, or doll need a mini-vacation? Drop it off at the library on August 11th for the Teddy Bear Sleepover!
Your toy will spend the night touring, playing, and reading at the library with no people around. You can get hints about what’s going on during the sleepover by checking the Speedway Library’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SpeedwayPublicLibrary).
Then at 10 a.m. on August 12th, enjoy donuts and juice when you come to pick up your toy. You will get to hear stories about what the toys did the night before and take home photos!
Drop off a teddy bear, stuffed animal, or doll between 3:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Friday, August 111h. You or your parent will need to sign in your toy and give contact information at this time. Your toy will stay overnight at the library. Keep in mind that after the library closes, you will be unable to pick up your toy until the next day. If you want a peek at what your toy is up to, keep the Speedway Public Library’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/SpeedwayPublicLibrary) that night for updates.
Come back to the library at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12th to pick up your toy and enjoy a light breakfast of donuts and juice. During breakfast, you will receive a booklet with pictures and stories about what the toys were up to the night before. This booklet will be yours to keep!
